Background on Cr Melina Sehr:
Cr Melina Sehr is the Mayor of the City of Stonnington for the 2024–25 Council year. Deeply committed to her community and respected by her peers, Cr Sehr was unanimously elected Mayor in November 2024 and continues to champion strong local leadership grounded in connection, history, and service. Cr Sehr is currently in her fifth term as Mayor, having previously served in the role in 2003, 2004, 2010 and 2014.
A lifelong resident of Prahran, Cr Sehr was first elected to Council in 2002 and brings over two decades of local government experience to the position. She also served as Deputy Mayor across three consecutive years from 2020 to 2022.
