Women for Election In Conversation with Nadia Saleh :: 17 June 2020
Women for Election Australia are inviting you to our online In Conversation series, hosted by Licia Heath. Our guest is Nadia Saleh, currently servicing as a local councillor for the Canterbury-Bankstown Council. Nadia was elected as the Deputy Mayor in September 2017-2018 and is an executive member on the Board of the Australian Services Union. Nadia also received the Local Woman of the Year Award in 2018 for her contributions to the community. She continues to dedicate her skills and passion for serving and empowering her community.
Nadia migrated to Australia from Lebanon 30 years ago and has been a passionate advocate for her community. She has managed essential services at the Riverwood Community Centre for disadvantaged communities in the south-western region of Sydney.
Licia is the CEO of WFEA and ran as an Independent in the high profile 2018 Wentworth by-election.
